The Fierce Diety armor set is available in Tears of the Kingdom, and it’s one of the many great armor sets available, and a nod to Majora’s Mask. To find this armor your going to have to complete one of the many Misko’s Treasure quests, which takes you all over Hyrule hunting for loot. Today I’m going to walk through the steps to get the Fierce Deity armor, and a sword to go with it too, in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
Without further delay lets dive into the quest.
How to start the Fierce Deity armor quest
Before we start hunting for the Fierce Deity armor set, we have to journey to a cave in the Eldin Region and solve a riddle in a cave. The best way to get there is Kisinona Shrine next to Cephla Lake in Eldin Canyon, or you can get there via Eldin Tower.
Once you are there you’ll meet two adventurers, Domidak and Prissen, outside a cave. You should be able to see them from a distance because they have a good fire going. Have a chat with them and they will explain there are too many chests inside the cave, and you won’t be able to find the treasure, but you’re welcome to go in and have a look if you want to. There are too many chests, but the trick here is to feed their dog outside the cave. There are some apples on the tree nearby, but you can see the dog a combination of food. Feed it enough and it’ll take you into the cave and point at a specific chest. Open up the chest and you’ll get the Ember Trousers, which allow for a Hot Weather Attack.
The Ember Trousers aren’t the main prize we are looking for, however, Domidak and Prissen give you a message from Misko. This message is key to starting the quest Misko’s Treasure: The Fierce Deity.
How to solve Misko’s Treasure The Fierce Deity
In the message from Misko you’ll find 3 clues and each of them will lead you to a Fierce Deity armor piece.
The Fierce Deity armor is said to have once belonged to a hero of a world in which the moon threatened to fall. Wearing the armor provides an attack boost. You start with a defence of 3 for each piece, and you can upgrade the armor through the Great Fairy Fountains.
Fierce Deity Armor
First of all you want to make your way to the Akkala Citadel Ruins. If you have been there before then you want to go to Domizuin Shrine, or you can warp to a near by Tower. You are looking for a bedchamber and that can be found on the southwest side of the ruins. Make your way there, but be careful as there is a Gloomspawn wandering the ruins, so keep your eyes peeled for that. Enter the bed chamber and you’ll find a hole in the wall, crouch down and then go through and you’ll find a chest. Open up the chest and you’ll get the Fierce Deity Armor.
Fierce Deity Mask
Next we want to go to Skull Lake, west of Akkala Wilds, and north of Death Mountain. Misko mentions diving through the left eye, although looking at it on the map it’s the right eye. One of the easiest ways to get there is to warp to Sitsum Shrine and then go around the mountain and paraglide off, onto the eye, although do be aware it’s quite high from the ground and you may need some extra stamina to get there.
Once you are over the hole, dive down into the Cave and fight the Stalkoblins and bust through the walls. You’ll find a Stalnox, and you’ll want to shoot arrows into it’s eye and then batter the eye until it’s dead. it’ll drop some decent loot and then you want to climb to the central mound with the flags, open up the chest and you’ll get the Fierce Deity Mask.
Fierce Deity Boots
Next we want to find an Ancient Tree Stump at the centre of the lake north of Mount Daphnes and west of Hyrule field. You can get there with a local tower or shrine and then paraglide there and cross the bridge to get to the stump. Once there, dive down into the Cave. Make your way down the roots to the water, and then up the other wide and slash at the vines covering the door. Climb up the walls and you’ll reach another door covered with vines. Remove the vines with a sword again, and inside you’ll find a chest, open the chest for the Fierce Deity Boots.
Fierce Deity Sword
Finally, now you have the full Fierce Deity armor set, you can head back to the initial cave next to Cephla Lake in Eldin Canyon. Put on the full armor set and enter the cave. A secret door will then open, and a chest will be revealed. Open up the chest and you’ll get the Fierce Deity Sword.
This completes the quest Misko’s Treasure The Fierce Deity. You can also get the armor set with the Majora’s Mask Amiibo, but that’s not as fun as adventuring around Hyrule.
Let me know in the comments what you think of the Fierce Deity armor and sword, plus the quest.
