Best Smoothie Recipes in Zelda Echoes of Wisdom

Making smoothies in Echoes of Wisdom is very useful, as they not only restore health but also have additional effects too. Similar to cooking in Breath of the Wild you can combine ingredients to make unique smoothies that restore health, but also climb faster, swim faster, restore Sword Fighter energy and much more. Today I am going to go through the best smoothie recipes in Zelda Echoes of Wisdom.

How to make smoothies

To make smoothies in the first place you’ll need to find a Business Scrub, these are entrepreneurial Deku Scrubs who have set up shop around Hyrule and sell make smoothies to sell. You can also sell them smoothies and other items to make money too. Find them, speak to them and combine two ingredients to make smoothies, and there are over 60 combinations. Here are 10 of the best I have found in the game so far.

Salted Milky Smoothie

This one is good for restoring Sword Fighter Energy in full, plus you will heal 10 heartts. This is great for taking into boss fights, especially given the healing on Swordfighter form.

Ingredients: Rock Salt and Milk

Rock Salt – Find this around Hyrule or buy from the Goron Shop in the Eldin Region, north west of Hyrule.

Milk – Buy this att Hyrule Ranch, north west of Hyrule Castle.

Refreshing Milky Smoothie

This one restores 13 hearts in total. While it does heal a lot of hearts, it doesn’t have any additonal effects. This one is good for taking into a boss fight or against a mini boss.

Ingredients: Refreshing Grapes and Milk

Refreshing Grapes – Find these by exploring Hyrule or you can buy them from Kakariko Village Shop, north west of Hyrule.

Milk – Buy this from the farmer next to the cow at Hyrule Ranch, north west of Hyrule Castle.

Salted Catus Smoothie

This is a good smoothie for keeping cool in hot places. You will get 2 sword fighter energy recovery and also heatt resistence for 3 mins.

Ingredients: Chilly Cactus and Rock Salt

Chilly Cactus – This is quite a rare ingredient, but you can buy from the shop in the Gerudo Town, or you’ll get given some in the main quest from the Gerudo people.

Rock Salt – Find this around Hyrule or buy from the Goron Shop in the Eldin Region, north west of Hyrule.

Warm Rocktato Smoothie

This one helps Zelda keep warm in cold places, so it’s the opposite of Salted Catus Smoothie. The Warm Rocktato Smoothie keeps you safe from the cold for 3 mins, plus provides 3 energy for your sword fighter form.

Ingredients: Warm Pepper and Rocktato

Warm Pepper – You can find these by opening chests or as a random drop from some enemies in the Gerudo Desert. Also, you can buy from the shop in the Gerudo Town.

Rocktato – Find this around The Eldin Region or buy from the Goron Shop in the north west of Hyrule.

Milky Rapid Smoothie

This one helps you swim faster. There are plenty of areas in the game where you have to swim down rivers and streams and this smoothie is going to make that much easier. It heals 10 hearts and increases swim speed for 1 min.

Ingredients: Milk and Riverhorse

Milk – Buy this from the farmer next to the cow at Hyrule Ranch, north west of Hyrule Castle.

Riverhorse – You can find Riverhorses in Jabul Waters plus you can buy them in the River Zora Town shop.

Mango Climbing Smoothie

You can use echoes like Crawltula’s to climc walls, but they can be slow. You can use the Mango Climbing smoothie to speed things up. This is especially useful if you need to scale high walls. For this one you’ll need a rocktatoe and a tough mango. This heals 10 hearts and gives you a boost to wall climbing speed for 3 mins.

Ingredients: Rocktato and Mango

Rocktato – Find this around The Eldin Region or buy from the Goron Shop in the north west of Hyrule.

Mango – Play the mango mini-game at the Gerudo Oasis to the west of Hyrule.

Milky Tough Smoothie

This smoothie is all about boosting your defense. For this you’ll need a tough mango and some milk. Combine them together and you’ll get 18 hearts healed and 1 min of damage reduction, which is useful when battling against tough enemies like bosses or mini-bosses.

Ingredients: Milk and Mango

Milk – Buy this from the farmer next to the cow at Hyrule Ranch, north west of Hyrule Castle.

Mango – Play the mango mini-game at the Gerudo Oasis to the west of Hyrule.

Mixed Apple smoothie

This is a good smoothie for protection against lightning. This is going to heal 5 hearts, plus provide the lightning proof effect for 3 mins.

Ingredients: Riverhorse and Electro Apple

Riverhorse – You can find Riverhorses in Jabul Waters plus you can buy them in the River Zora Town shop.

Electro Apple – Electro Apples can be found in the Faron Wetlands, plus you can buy them from the shop in Hyrule Castle Town.

Salted Tough Smoothie

This one is all about reducing damage taken, but it also refills swordfighter energy too. You’ll get damage reduction for 1 min plus a complete refill of swordfighter energy.

Ingredients: Rock Salt and Tough Mango

Rock Salt – Find this around Hyrule or buy from the Goron Shop in the Eldin Region, north west of Hyrule.

Mango – Play the mango mini-game at the Gerudo Oasis to the west of Hyrule.

Golden Smoothie

This is the best smoothie in the game, and provides maximum healing. It’s great for late game exploring and boss battles. The golden egg will provide 20 hearts healing, and if you use additinal ingredients they can change the effects of the smoothie, but the golden egg will give you the max healing you are looking for.

Ingredients: 2 Golden Eggs or 1 Golden egg and a common ingredient

Golden Eggs – Find them in chests in Dungeons or around Hyrule. They are quite rare.

The common ingredients you can use are Refreshing Grapes, Floral Nectar, Fresh Milk, and Rock Salt.

Goron City: Shop Rocktato (25 rupees), Rock salt (30 rupees)

Kakariko Village Shop: Refreshing grapes (40 rupees)
River Zora Shop: Riverhorse (40 rupees)
Sea Zora Shop: Bubble kelp (25 rupees)
Suthorn Village: Floral Nectar (30 rupees)

You can find Business Scrubs selling smoothies all over Hyrule. There’s one at the Gerudo Oasis, there’s another in Kakariko Village plus you’ll find another in the Eldin Region. They are dotted all around Hyrule looking to help you out, plus also make some rupees too. Don’t forget as well as making smoothies they also buy smoothies from you, plus there’s a good quest where you get rewards at 10 and 20 smoothie recipes, which helps make ingredients cheaper, so make sure to make plenty of smoothies and try lots of recipes.
