Some echoes are more helpful than others, and I recommend these to you early in the game.
Crow Echo
Crows are very useful and you’ll find them on the way to Gerudo Desert early in the game. These are great for attacking enemies, but they also help you find rupees. On their first attack of an enemies rupees will often burst out and then they will collect them for you. Put down a couple of crows at any given time and they often overwhelm enemies with ease.
Bed Echo
Beds are one of the most useful tools in Echoes of Wisdom given you can make bridges, plus you can rest and restore health. The more comfy the bed the faster the health regeneration. To speed up health regen in a bed quickly get in and out of bed and it’ll restore hearts faster. You’ll find a bed early in the game when you escape the Hyrule Castle Jail, but also there’s an upgrade found in Gerudo Town.
Flying Tile Echo
This is a multi-purpose echo, and one of the very best early in the game. You can find this in the north western part of Gerudo Desert in a cave. Flying Tile Echo will help you get across large gaps, plus you can use it to distract enemies and also attack them. I would try and get this one as early as possible as it’s going to make your adventure much easier.
Trampoline Echo
You can find the Trampoline Echo in Suthorn Village right at the start of the game, and this is going to help Zelda reach high places with ease. Later in the game you can upgrade your jump, however, for a quick fix early in the game use the Trampoline Echo to help get to those high places.
Water Block Echo
This one is super useful for climbing, and you’ll find the Water Block Echo in the Jabul Waters area of Hyrule pretty early on. The good thing about the Water Blocks are you can stand there and spam them, and they will stack and climb into the air, allowing Zelda to get up nice and high with ease. Water Blocks only cost a single echo, so as you upgrade Tri you’ll be able to create higher towers to climb.
Bombfish Echo
The Bombfish Echo is a quick way to get bombs early in the game, eveyr though you can get an upgrade later on. You’ll find the Bombfish Echo in Jabul Waters early in the game. Even later on when you get bombs, Bombfish Echoes are great because they don’t cost swordfighter energy. They are worth finding early in the game and are useful for blowing holes in cracks and attacking enemies.
Crawltula Echo
This little guy helps you crawl to high places and scale walls and generally helps you get around Hyrule with ease. This is going to make things much easier early in the game. You can find this one in the Suthorn Plains, which is north of Suthorn Village.
Buzzblob Echo
You can find this one in the Faron Region in the South East part of the map. This instantly electrocutes enemies and it a very potent weapon. Good damage, great range.
Peahat Echo
This is a great echo for early game, but also going into the late game too. You’ll remember Peahats from Ocarina of Time on Hyrule Field and they are back here in Echoes of Wisdom. This gets over gaps and water. You can just enter a room and let the Peahats destor everything in there with ease. You can also use them to glide. You can find the Peahat echo early in the game in a cave on the eastern side of Suthorn Forest, directly south of where you’ll enter the rift containing the Suthorn Ruins.
Ignizol Echo
Fire is super useful for attacking enemies, plus also puzzles too by burning boxes and also setting a whole room of grass on fire to flush out hidden enemies. The Ignizol Echo is a great echo to have. Go into the first cave you encounter in the Suthorn Forest and you’ll find one.
