Hyrule is pretty big in Echoes of Wisdom, so the ability to fast-travel around is very valuable. Today I’m going to go through a guide for how to unlock fast-travel, plus how to warp between waypoints in Zelda Echoes of Wisdom.

How to unlock fast-travel
The good news is you’ll unlock fast travel very early in the game, allowing you to quickly take advantage of the feature. As you progress through the main story quest you’ll find yourself in Suthorn Village after going through Suthorn Beach. Once you leave the village and go past the sign you’ll find the first fast-travel point called a Waypoint.
These are little yellow structures that glow and allow Zelda to quickly travel to unlocked waypoints anywhere on the map. There are lots of Waypoints to activate dotted all across Hyrule, and often they are going to be close to key locations like towns or entrances to the Still World. To activate the Waypoints just walk up to them and interact with them.
After you have activated your first Waypoint, keep progressing through the main story and you’ll find plenty more Waypoints to activate.
How to warp between Waypoints
All you need to do is open up your map, select a Waypoint (which have glowing yellow marlkers on your map) and then ‘warp’ to that Waypoint. Tri then performs some magic, sits on Zelda’s head and then they both fast-travel to the selected destination. The good news is it doesn’t cost anything to fast-travel and you can do it from pretty much anywhere, which makes the multi-objective quests nice and easy. For example, early in the game you’ll be helping out in the Gerudo Desert and you have to go to multiple locations. Unlock all the waypoints when you are exploring and it’ll make getting around for this quest, and many others in the game, nice and quick and simple.
