You start the game in a jail cell, and normall you would have to solve a puzzle to get a key. Don’t worry about that, because this is all about learning how to use your Tri Rod to escape from jail. First of all learn the echo of the table and then create an echo of a table to jump up to the wall on the left, if you look closely there you can see a small gap in the wall which is out of reach and we’re going to need to use the echoes to get there. Use an echo on the floor, then jump up, and use another echo to get to the gap.

Now you are out of your cell, the door will be open to the next cell and you can simply walk out and go left through the door. Don’t go right because there are guards there. If you get caught by the guards in this section they’re going to through you back in jail.

In the next room you’ll want to sneak by the guards. You can use your echo tables to jump up onto the higher ground, and then walk past the guards, they can’t see you if you walk on the top. Then you’ll find the Wooden Box, so learn this new echo.

Next you’ll find two patrolling guards moving around some shelves. You can solve this puzzle in multiple ways, either by pushing the boxes, or by running past the guards.

Then you’ll find a couple of guards talking, and they are giving you a clue. They talk about a guard who’s pretty slow and reacts to noises made by pots. Go up the ladder and learn the Hyrule Castle Pot Echo. Now you want to use the pots to distract the guards. You can do this by picking up the pots and throwing them, the Guards will then go and check out the sound they make when they break, and you can walk past them with ease.

Go through the door and you’ll meet Impa, plus you’ll get a blue cloak disguise, learn the spin move and get a map of Hyrule. All very useful stuff. When you have finished talking to Impa, learn the Decorative Shrub Echo. Then use the ladder and get on the shelves creating some Decorative Shrubs to help you get across the gaps. At this point you should find some beds and you’ll want to learn the Old Bed Echo. These are very valuable in terms of getting you across gaps. Use a combination of shrubs and beds to create yourself a bridge to help you get to the door, which is hglighted by the light all the way to the left.

Royal Family Shortcut

You’ve made it to the outside, and now you can use your spin attack and put it to good use. SPin attack the grass and you’ll find some rupees, pick up as many as you can as you’ll need those for later. Remove the grass and you’ll then see a well or an opening on the left hand side. Drop down into here to discover the Royal Family Shortcut.

Here use a table or old bed echo and then drop down to find the Boulder Echo. Interact with it to learn that. Next swim over to the wooden box in the water and then create more box echoes to help you reach the other side.

Next you’ll find more wooden boxes and here you’ll need to create a boulder echo on top of a wooden box and it will sink to the bottom, creating a gap for Zelda to swim by helping you get to the next room.

Finally you’ll reach a room where a rift opens up and starts chasing you. Run as fast as you can, jump into the water and swim for your life.

That’s it for Hyrule Castle Underground jail guide in Zelda Echoes of Wisdom. Let me know what you think in the comments.
