Swordfighter Form comes in real handy when you are fighting against bosses or some of the tougher mini bosses in the game. However, the problem is you can’t stay in that form for long, and it takes Still World energy to recharge your meter.

How to upgrade Swordfighter form

We get the Swordfighter ability pretty early in the game after we beat Link in the Suthorn Dungeon, plus upgrades as we progress through the story. After completing the first Dungeon we’ll go to Lueburry’s House, where we learn about upgrading swordfigher form with his fantastic machine.

Might Crystals

To upgrade our abilities we need Might Crystals. There are a few ways to get Might Crystals including clearing rifts and completing Dungeons, plus you can find them around Hyrule, even though finding them can be quite rare.

We can upgrade a few aspects of Swordfighter Form – the Sword, the Bow and the Bombs, plus we can increase our energy. Upgrading the weapons increases their power and upgrading the energy increases the amount of time you can stay in Swordfighter Form.

Where do we go to upgrade?

We need to go to Lueburry’s House, which is in the central part of Hyrule. There is a Waypoint very close, so it’s nice and easy to get to.

When to upgrade?

It’s worth checking back with Lueburry every now and again because upgrades do become available. I was going through the main story and not really going back to upgrade, and having either a more powerful sword or longer swordfighter energy is going to make future dungeon battle much easier, so it’s worth taking a bit of time out and going to visit Lueburry’s House.
