Tears of the Kingdom gives us the ability to create incredible machines and today I’m going to feature some fantastic flying machines to help get you from A to B via the air, or perhaps you want to fly in and provide death from above on Ganondorf’s minions. Zelda Notes and Tears of the Kingdom’s Switch 2 Edition has made it easier than ever for everyone to build, share and enjoy Zonai devices, and today I’m going to highlight and share some of the most incredible flying machines you can build in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
If you like the video, then subscribe for more Zelda content here on Triforce Times. Plus stick around to the end of the video for an exclusive offer to channel members.
I’ll be sharing the QR codes for each build today. All you need is Tears of the Kingdom on Switch 2, the Nintendo Switch App for iOS and Android, and make sure you’re version of Tears of the Kingdom is hooked up to Zelda Notes. Then all you need to do is scan the code you’ll find on screen, and you’ll be able to add this build into your game, so you can use any of these flyign machines you see here.
Without any delay, let’s get into the most incredible flying machines in Tears of the Kingdom.
Plane
This is a decent plane if you want a nice easy ride. It’s easy to fly, although does drain the battery so make sure you have plenty of energy in reserves. It doesn’t have any weapons, so it’s good for getting from A to B, for example if you want to get between Sky Islands. Thanks to Reddit user isic for this one.

X-Wing
Next we have a Star Wars inspired flying machine, one that you will all recognise, and this is a Hyrulian X-Wing. This is another one that’s easy to fly, plus it’s not too harsh on energy consumption, so it will get you where you need to go without spending too much. Thanks to Hyrule Engineer Shojon for this one.

Hover Brick
Next up we have a variantion on the Hover Bike, called The Hover Brick. Similar to a Hover Bike, but you are encased in a Brick, which adds a decent layer of protection. You can use this flying machine to duck in and out of spaces nice and quickly, or you can use it as a battering ram and smash into enemies, before finishing them off. This is particularly good if you’re trying to attack enemies and they are firing arrows at you, or some kind of projectile. Thanks to reddit user King X Official for this one.

Jet-powered Plane
I’ve shown you a regular plane, but what if we added jet engines? This is a fantastic flying machine from getting from A to B nice and quickly, although it does eat energy, so make sure you have plenty in reserves. This one doesn’t only fly brilliantly, but it also controls really well. Given we have the rocket-powered engines this one is fast, perfect for getting to and from SKy Islands. It also has some good power to fly upward, often with flying machines you can fly in a straight line, but this is good for going up too. This is another creation from isic, so massive thanks to this Hyrule Engineer.

Air Fortress
This next design is a Flying Fortress, which allows you to hover over enemies and rain down lasers killing everything in your path. This is a deadly autobuild, which you can use to approach enemy camps, then clear it out completely, allowing Link to go in and reap all the rewards, without every getting his hands dirty or breaking a sweat. Thanks to Hyrule Engineer Kurone113 from Reddit.

Perfect Hoverbike
This next vehicle is a classic design, and one that’s been well-worn and well used, but it’s worth highlighting when it comes to flying machines, as this is cheap, easy to use, and helps get you from A to B very quickly and easily. If you have one autobuild design in your back pocket, this should be it. It helps you get across sky islands, helps you in the depths, it’s a very versatile vehicle that’s small and nimble. Thanks to Hyrule Engineer Sketch-tan.

Easy Fighter 2.0
This is another airborn weapon. It’s easy to control, plus you get a good amount of damage on enemies. This is a fairly unique design and looks different from your regular plane, and uses a combination of balloon, wing and weapons. Ganon’s forces should rightly look up into the sky to see if Link is attacking in this one, because it will help destroy enemy camps in seconds. Thanks to Reddit user Osh-kosh-ganache for this one.

Flying Death Machine
This one is a simple concept – fly in on a nimble aircraft and kill everything in your path. This is smaller than other flying machine with weapons I have used before, so it’s nice and easy to use, and doesn’t take up too much energy. This is a good build for a quick attack on camps of enemies. This one is from Hyrule Engineer Zhujzal.

Air Strider
This is a unique-looking flying machine. It’s rather largem but it’s easy to control. It’s unique, but I kind of like it. This one is also from Hyrule Engineer Zhujzal

Atlas Unlimited
This is a classic-looking plane, and one of the best I have flown in Tears of the Kingdom. Given the combination of wings and fans here, when you run out of battery you can stand in the vehicle, recharge your energy and continue to fly. Definitely one to try if you need to fly long distances. This is another creation by Isic, so again, huge thanks to Hyrule Engineer Isic for this one (make sure to check out their creations and give them plenty of upvotes on Hyrule Engineering).

Hover bike with lasers & cannons
This last one is a good build on the Hover Bike, however, I keep shooting myself out of the sky with it. I think I need some more practice to get this one just right. It’s good for flying straight into an enemy camp, but when the vehicle detects something at an angle, well, then its over. I do think this one could be modified slightly to help prevent the self-shooting. But it’s still a nice idea, just needs a little tweaking to get it just right. Thanks to Five Dizzy Ducks for the build.
